My new neighbour keeps parking in the space directly outside my house.?
due to that fact i am a confrontational coward and that i also carry a bit of a temper, what is the best way of handling this situation?
Answers:
Unless the space is specified solely for you, and has your house number printed on it, it is not considered your parking space. You are going to have to accept the situation, no matter whether it is your space or not. You do not know your "new" neighbour, and you can not take the chance of meeting through negative circumstances. As you get to know the neighbour (by first making a friendly visit to introduce yourself with a gift of flowers or baked goods), your neighbour will become more receptive to you and your needs. You do not know if your "new" neighbour is intentionally invading your 'space', so give her/him the benefit of the doubt. If time proves that he/she is 'taking over', then you will be glad you avoided the confrontation,
Leave things there, like a garbage can or something. Mark out your territory by using the animal instinct. Rarr
Put a "NO PARKING" sign there - stick it into the ground in frony where she parks
I would put a very polite note on the car requesting they leave your space open for you.but if it is street parking and not designated soley for you there is not much you can do
