Does anybody out there know how to make vanilla fudge?
i have a sweet tooth but i dont know how to make sweeties any suggestions or recipies would be greatly appreciated.thankyou

Makes 1lb
2 cups Caster sugar
1/2 pint Evaporated milk
4 Tbs Milk
4 oz Butter
1 Vanilla pod split
Pinch of salt
Broken nuts (optional)
Line an 8x2-inch high loaf pan with foil, extending the foil over the edges of the pan, butter foil the and set aside.
In a saucepan combine sugar, evaporated milk, milk, and salt.
Cook and stir over a medium heat until boiling, then lower the heat and stir for 30 minutes
Immediately remove saucepan from heat and add the butter and vanilla pod but do not stir.
Cool mixture, without stirring, to 110 degrees (approx 45 mins)
Remove the vanilla pod and beat vigorously with a wooden spoon till fudge becomes very thick
and just starts to lose its gloss (about 10 minutes total).
Spread fudge into the loaf pan and score into 1-inch squares while warm.
Top each square with the optional nuts, if desired.
When firm, use the foil to lift the fudge out of the pan and cut into squares.
Store airtight in the refrigerator.

A little white chocolate for topping.

1. Lightly butter a shallow baking dish.
2. Pour the milk and cream into a heavy-based saucepan, add the sugar and butter and bring the mixture to a boil over a medium heat.
3. Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring continuously, until the mixture registers 115C on a sugar thermometer (this is called the soft ball stage).
4. Stir in the vanilla extract; remove from the heat and leave to cool.
5. Beat the mixture with a whisk until thick, before pouring into the prepared dish to set. Add melted white chocolate to the top and then Cut into squares to serve.
Ingredients125 g butter

395g can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 cup brown sugar
100 g white choc chips
Method
Line a 7cm x 25cm bar pan with foil.
Melt butter in pan.
Add golden syrup, Sweetened Condensed Milk and brown sugar.
Stir over low heat until boiling, reduce heat, simmer 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat, add White choc chips, mix until smooth.
Pour into prepared pan, refrigerate until set. Cut into slices or squares.
