What do I use to remove wax from soft wooden floors?

Answers:
if the wax has been down for some years you will have to lightly sandpaper it off. going with the grain, then thourghly hoover up all the dust if you are going to reseal the wood
candle wax or floor wax?
Grease proof paper and slightly hot Iron. Must do it quickly and peel back quickly as well.
i normally use a blowtorch ! with about a 50% success rate, sometimes the wax is to flameabale, its just trial and error.
Use a blow dryer to heat the wax and then wipe it off.
Presuming you have a finish on the floor that you don't want to damage? Spray some Goo Gone on it. Wait a few seconds. Then use the edge of a popsicle stick or a plastic credit card or something along those lines to scrape most of it up. Use a damp sponge to get rid of the rest. The Goo Gone will break the s**t down.
