Why does some toilet paper detach from the roll at random intervals and not along the flippin' perforation?

Charmin'? It certainly ain't!!

Answers:
You're tugging too hard. It's loo roll, not your wiener.
cheap tp will do that. it's so thin, it'll tear at the slightest resistance.
so the "consumer" uses more
Yeh, it can be annoying. However, if you're using a paper that has 2 layers, if you bring one layer round again, it should solve the problem! Hope this helps..
If this happens you can fix it! Take 1 level of the 2-ply and wind it back round the roll and you'll find the perforations match up properly again.
The cheap stuff usually does that. You need a better class of perforation..
