How many bricks should a bricklayer lay in a day when building a wall ?

He dosent need to stop to mix the cement , he has a 'assistant' to do that..

Answers:
This is an honest and accurate answer cause the rest of the people answering are idiots.. A good bricklayer can lay 750 bricks a day.
why!!!!!!!!!
That obviously depends on how good he his.
depends how long the wall is
Why the HELL do you need to know that? >__>
Depends on how many brick,s he lay,s ,, o.k/.. numb-nuts ..
1,000?
That depends on many factors, i.e what sort of brickwork he is doing, wether its below damp, if its a garden wall, extension, etc etc etc , a very rough guess is 400 at least a day
only until you know the dimensions of your wall can you figure out how many bricks you will need to build it.
If it was a very simple wall, straight, no cuts or cut ups, no corners etc to set out then about 1000 possibly, so half it and say about 500 for a non typical wall.
A guess.
8,689 I don't know, silly billy!
theoretically 800 to 1000. more like 800 if facing brick as they'd have to be finished more neatly.
The more you lay the better you are, I know bloke to do 80 meters in a day! And bloke that do 60.
Mr 80 get £150 per day
Mr 60 get £100 per day
But they are both good brickies!
Depends on loads weather, how fast his mate is at mixing, colour of bricks and dont give them tea!
A certain Mr Rohan Strange in Australia makes a good living as a professional 'brickie'.

On a good day, he can lay between 700 and 800 bricks. It's nice money if you earn the top rate of AUD $1.20 per brick, and, given the critical shortage of brickies in Australia, there's every chance of reaching that potential.

Most other figures I've found on the Internet say 600 bricks, and upwards.

After doing all this research, I was on a roll, so I asked a woodchuck how much wood it thought it could chuck.if it could chuck wood.

He looked at me coldly and asked in return:

'Give me one good reason why a woodchuck would WANT to chuck wood, and I'll think about telling you the answer.'

Hmmmmm. He had me there.
all depends on the type of wall and size of brick, i have known brickies to lay between 500-1000 small brick a day, but that was the old type brickie, who liked a days work.
A good bricky, and i mean a good bricky can lay around 600 to 800 bricks a day or around 200 blocks a day but that is going at it hard with somebody mixing the cement for him.
