Noisy floorboards?

im sure that after a certain time at night our floorboards squeek twice as loud....Does anyone know how to cure the noise PLEASE......

Answers:
You can use baby powder in the cracks of the floorboards.
the squeeking that you hear is the boards rubbing together.
Have someone go to the floor below and look at the joists under your feet. When they see the floor move where you are stepping they hammer a wooden wedge between the floor joist and the floor. That will stop the squeaking.
put baby powder in the cracks between the boards
try not to walk on them lol
talc will stop them creakin , brush it in the joints , its the noise when theyre contracting
Screw or nail them down. Don't nail them in the centre as there may be pipes underneith.
If all else fails, locate the creaky culprits. Then drill 1/8" holes through but not into the subfloor. Then insert construction adhesive into the holes, let cure and putty the holes.
Sprinkle talcum-power in the cracks at squeaky places.
