How do i get cigeratte smoke stains from white gloss doors and frames?

and i have tried bleach but it dont work,

Answers:
How gross. I would simply wash them down with soapy water because the smell of stale smoke is repulsive and then paint over them again. Have you just moved into a place where people before you used to smoke indoors or is it your smoke? If it's the latter then I would smoke outside, it's healthier for everyone around (especially kids) and there's nothing worse than a house that stinks of dirty ashtrays and has nicotine stains all over the walls! Rank!
repaint - and give up smoking, it will be the best thing you can do, trust, all my house hold have done it together, and what a difference a day makes.
SCRUB with vinegar and leave for 20 minutes and wipe off with a damp cloth. Make sure it's neat.Cigarette stains are pretty tough so you might have to paint over them.
paint it
bi carbonate of soda .....
soda chrystals
re paint and do as i do smoke out side less decorating then
Stop smoking and give your doors and frames a good clean then re-paint with a high quality liquid gloss
dont think you can, and old type whitepaint 'yellows' over time anyway, sobest thing is to pain tover and ban smoking in the house.it works for us
paint them again with gloss paint !!
Your gonna have to pain them mate, oil based paints are not the best for cleaning
I use Dow Scrubbing Bubbles and it works great for me. I just spray it on and you can see the smoke stains just start running down the door. My doors and trim are painted in semi-gloss paint, but I have used it on regular paint and everything else and it has always worked for me. I use it to clean everything. Good luck
Repaint them. Or if you have time on your hands, hire a sander from your local speedy and sand them down. Then repaint.
nothing, the stain will have permiated the paint.
the only answer to get that nice freshly painted look is to rub down the woodwork, and re-gloss.
bleach will dull the effect of gloss paint.
the best tip i can give you, as a smoker myself, is to not smoke in the house.
Wash them down with Sugar Soap available from all good diy shops. After washing down,a light sanding then undercoat before glossing. And finally, give up smoking.Your health will improve and your decorating wont take so long next time! Good luck.
try black gloss paint, you can still keep smoking and never have to clean or paint ever again.
Soap & water
stop smoking; the only thing you can do is re-paint. although there are products that say they remove this, nothing does because it soaks into the finish in the same way as is soaks into your lungs.
hot water and lots of elbow greese..the repaint if you have to.
apply another coat of paint and stop smoking bfore it's to late to worry about paint on doors
Stop smoking and then redecorate.
Try Sugar Soap, readily available and inexpensive from all the DIY superstores. Good luck .
clean with sugar soap or similar. Rub down with fine sand paper. Make sure you use a good undercoat before you gloss to stop stains bleeding through again. You can buy very good paint at specialist suppliers which only requires one coat but it is really expensive. And yes indeed, give up smoking.
