How do u make candle wax gel?
Thanks
Answers:
I have been involved in candlemaking as a hobby over the last five years. Normally, you use wax pellets in making a candle. While it would be nice to simply convert these pellets into the wax gel we see in manufactured candles, I am not aware that such is possible. I have actually found, in craft stores, that you can buy the wax gel in large plastic containers, ready to use. I do not believe that you can make wax gel apart from the means of professional manufacturing. Hope that helps.
You get a 'double' saucepan (the one at the bottom has water in; the top one has wax) - or use a proper 'wax melter' (electric);
Then you heat it carefully - until the wax is melted.
BE CAREFUL - wax is very hot and (of course) very inflammable.
WHOOPS! Sorry. Don't know about 'GEL'.
I have seen it at hobbycraft stores
