How do i remove algae from the bottom of my pool?

i have treated the water with shock and tho the water is now clear there is green residue on the bottom of the pool. if i wipe it off it clouds the water. is there anything i can get to disperse or coagulate it for easier removal?

Answers:
5000 of those snails they put in aquariams, just slurping their way around your pool 24/7
Chlorine?
I think yu just have to keep scrubbing and shocking the pool. Backwashing will get rid of some of it after you scrub.
you need to use a algacide and then vacuum it out of the pool either thru the filter or straight out to waste setting on filter ,bring a sample of your water to just about any pool store most will test water and tell you exactly what you need to keep water super clear
Long time since I had a pool but I recall I had a vacuum cleaner type attachment with a broad head that worked off of the main pool filtering plant. Was used on the bottom/sides of the pool to scrub/pick up algae. The water and debris that it picked up went through the pools filter, returning cleaned.
