How can i get rid of the weeds that stick to absolutely everything. 'sticky willies' i think they are called.

I don't know the proper name for them, but my children call them 'sticky willies' thats the only name i've heard, for them !

spray the weeds with round up weed killer leave to die then burn the dead growth that Will destroy the seeds to stop it growing back
Any proprietary weedkiller should do the job. Roundup is a good one. Follow the instruction carefully though.
Do you mean bindweed, that wraps itself around everything? If so, not much other than yanking it out will work I'm afraid.

Use a product called Dee-Weed. This kills every know weed (and grass/plants etc) for 5 years.

Look in the gardening section of the main newspapers for their advert.
Sodium Chlorate is very effective and a lot cheaper than most of the branded weed killers
