What is the best way to clean venetian blinds at home.?

You can buy a small gadget like tongs which you run along each slat. I think you can buy them in Department Stores of Lakeland might have them.

I've taken mine down.ran some water in the bath tub and put them in with some dish soap and used a wash cloth.worked for mine.you might have to scrub if they are really dirty
take them down put them in bath tub use warm water and a small
amount of bleach let soak for about 15 minutes then rinse before
putting back up
are they material or metal or plastic ?

and spray clean with shower head.and cloth
if material steam clean !

the best way i know of is to take them down and hang them on a fence outside and then use the hose to wash them down if there made well you can take a sponge to them or a soft brush and clean them leave them out to dry ,,,
I found cleaning them in the bath put a old towel on bottum of the bath and place blind in use water and washing up liquid and sponge or cloth clean along each blind on top and underneath .
Then rinse its time consuming and i hung them on line to dry after .
Oh if you do it this way watch sometimes the edges can cut.
other methods are using a special duster that you can buy from Betterwares or woolworths .its like tongs with sponge on it and you move across the blinds so its doing the top and bottum at the same time.
Clean them with the detachable part of your vacumn cleaner. This will remove all of the dust.

If you get an old, preferably clean sock, you put this on your hand and use this to clean the blind. this saves you having to take the blind down and saves you wetting any metal parts of the blind that might rust.
