not sure what your point is. Are you saying this sounds like too little or too much for a pan? With cookware as with anything, you gets what you pays for. There are several grades of non-stick and various grades of pan quality: the price depends on the combination of both. Personally I would not buy a £5 pan because it is likely to be cheap rubbish and the non-stick will wear off very soon. If you want a pan that lasts, and will withstand constant use in the kitchen - and particularly if you want a non-stick that you can use metal utensils on - you will be looking at £10-15 and upwards. But if you are a keen cook and use your pans a lot, it's worth spending a bit more. I don't use non-stick pans at all myself as I am a stainless steel fan, but let's just say my cookware set cost me more than anything else in my house - more than the TV and video even. But they are beautiful pans and built to last.
It's only non-stick to food, numbskull!
I like that, your a star and always make me laugh with your questions.
Actually all frying pans are non stick and here is how you do it...
Before you use your pan, heat the oil up inside the pan until it starts to smoke, then let it cool down slightly before you use it, and hay presto! you have a non stick pan! Try it you'll be suprised
Probable a fool?
