Still, the most used and best way to find an electrician is by word-of-mouth. Talk to neighbors, friends, relatives and co-workers. Ask them to recommend someone who has done work for them and rate how satisfied they were on the basis of quality and timeliness of work performed and cost.
Call out two or three of the best and get estimates on what you want done. Ask if they can put you in touch with previous customers who have had similar work done.
You might stay away from the one's you find in the pub, though. <vbg> But you'll always know where to find them!
