I find many useful things that way and have been doing it for fifty years. I do get some remarks but one thing for sure is that my home is paid for I owe no one anything and I sure save a lot by using what others throw away. I trade a lot of it as well. I don't sell any because of where I live but if you can then do so. My father used to do the same and there is no shame in doing it. I also earned a very good living at my profession and did not have to go to the trash but it si fun and I still do it.
Good way to make money. Scrap the metal, have a yard sale and sell whatever you find thats any good.

good keep recycling some people wont lower themselves to do this they are just missing out on a good thing while keeping the envrionment clean go for it I commend you I also enjoy dumpster diving Americans waste toomuch stuff
