My timber framed house upper elevation is render style on plywood base. The ply is rotten. Remedies invited.?

What is "render style" and how is a plywood base involved? Is the rotting problem in the roof panels or the sidewall panels? However it is constructed, moisture has gotten to the plywood. It has become trapped and caused the plywood to rot. If you can determine the source of the water/moisture, you are well on your way to finding a solution to your problem.
