Is there anything safe and non-toxic I can use to stop cats pooing on my lawn?

Answers:
Go to your local pet store and you'll be able to find some products to solve your problem. They're safe and non-toxic.
Spray them with a garden hose
a pit bull
Tiger poo (try your local zoo)
Cats are highly susceptible to sarcasm.
Spread mothball around the flower beds as cats dont like the smell, its said to work
Tiger poo from your nearest zoo
yea just the reglar ,flood the ground or dirt, makes it too hard to dig a hole, also ,cat hate wet ground, boy, cats are busy ,this is the third one.
Agree with previous suggestions of tiger poo.

Or get a dog (works for me) or garlic granules work sometimes or if you are felling realy mean, buy some catnip and pour it over your neighbours lawn. ^^
i use a electronic cat detterent in my garden.
i have had it 7 years and no more cat poop!
the best harmless thing you can get,
it sends out a high pitched noise with cats do not like so they go elsewhere,
i bought it from a local garden center ,

try it it works!
Pepper spray. Works every time.Mind you, the rain is liable to wash it away so use it regularly.
Lion poo from any zoo, my aunt uses it on her garden, it make the little cats stay away as they smell a bigger cat. It is easy to get if your on a list for some, and got to say it is not cheap but it does work very well.
the best thing to use it a jiffy lemon the one that u use for pancake. squirt sone round your garden. cats hate any citrus smell. i use it to stop them climbing on the tops of my kitchen cabinets.
Dont quote me on this but are machine guns non-toxic
lion poo
though were you get it i don't know
a friend of a friend came by some of this and it worked a treat!
My grandma uses orange peels - effectivity not guaranteed, but it's not too complicated to try - just leave peels to places where cats leave their marks.
ive heard if u place a bottle of water on the grass for some strange it stops them but im now sure how ot why lol
None of the so-called deterrents seem to work. Some may do for a while and then, unfortunately, the cats get used to them. Spraying them with a hosepipe is a good idea but you're not always there when the cat shows up. I would like to able to spray them with some obnoxious substance that will stink to high heaven when the cat is sitting around its own fireside. Any ideas?
No, they come in whatever you try, usually at the dead of night! Try borrowing somebodies dog for a week, it'll change the cats routine.
You can put rose cuttings around the beds surrounding the lawns, this works if the cat is timid. A wild cat will not be detered.

I've tried several makes of electronic deterants and not found any of them to work, it seems Minty has had better success. Although there is nothing to say the cat didn't move away by luck !
Bottled water in clear bottles though apparently the reflection scares them also check this out
Apparently Oil of Citronella is supposed to work or you could try the old filling an empty bottle with water which is supposed to scare them with their own reflection
tain your cat to hunt rats outside the lawn
go to a local diy shop they sell cat alarms which let out a hight pitch sound which hurts their ears they work for my father in law or try to find on on line they are about £20 to buy but are worth every penny
If you can rig up a bright light to activate on their movement. Cats hate being seen, especially when relieving themselves, it exposes them at a very awkward moment, they prefer to be incognito and prowl unnoticed. You watch their ears go back and they will lower their head in shame at being caught, bad for their street cred. They might come back once or twice but soon get the message, and go somewhere else,. they are creatures of habit and usually make their toilet anywhere, other than their own den area. i.e. their home garden. especially where there is loose soil,
electronic high pitch bell
plenty off choice in DIY or cheap selling shops and all injurious to family pets I use VAPET GET OFF to keep the foxes away and it works so should for cats it does mention dogs and cats on the bottle
