Its a King Charles cavalier spaniel.. the only dog still allowed into any public place in the country because of a law passed by the king who named them
specially bred to keep laps warm and attract fleas from owners during the 16-1800s
King Charles II, who was so fond of his spaniels he could not be parted from them. He made a decree that King Charles Spaniels must be allowed in any public place, including the House of Parliament. This decree is still in the law books today
they are still lovely dogs. and so cute too

A German Shepherd is black and tan..Don't do dogs anymore...they need too much time and money ! and it's lovely not to keep getting rid of their hairs !.Had German Shepherd, Basset hound, Lassie Collie and a loopy Springer Spaniel. The only one I have now is a nodding one in the car!!
I only have one canine so I guess thats my favourite, the other one was pulled out by my dentist.
