Cheapest supplier of wind turbines into the national grid for a semi-detached house?

want a wind turbine for my back garden at cheapest price

Answers:
B&Q have started to sell windturbines and solar panels now too, if you want to get a rough estimate. But my guess is, that the government will probably bring in grants over the next 2 years as Britain is not fulfilling its European quota for environmental issues (all of this provided you live in the UK?!?). So they would need to get their figures up pretty quickly and the way Germany got people to invest in this area was through subsidising purchases for the first few years and to force the electricity boards to pay you an appropriate amount of money for selling the energy you don't need back to them. In Britain, it's pathetic what you get from them! So it might be an idea to hold out for a little wile longer.

Also check if you like the noise. They are louder than I would have thought, before I saw one at a friend's house. Hope this helped.

I am cracking up with laughter here - keep the stupid questions coming perleeeese!
B&Q are selling at just under £1500 but no storage and a safe life of only 10 years so it may just about pay for itself but not much more - not sure about maintenance costs!
