Please Help! How to get greasy fingermarks from wallpaper?

Try a very little bit of Dawn dish detergent on a damp piece of paper towel. There is a degreaser in the Dawn which will neutralize the greasy fingerprints. I use it on my wallpaper and have never had any problems. Just use a little though - it goes a long way. Using too much makes it too sudsy. Good luck!

May be difficult because the grease will probably soak right in but you could try spraying some "vanish" and the gently wiping it with warm soapy water on a cloth.

I can't remember what they are called, but they are new and they look like a sponge. May be called dry sponge. They are white and you wet them and they will clean anything but especially wallpaper and not leave a mark. With the cleaning stuff in any store. You do not use any other cleaning product with them, just the wet sponge. I use mine all the time..
have heard that if you hold some kitchen roll or tissue paper over the greasy marks and then place hot iron on for about 10 secs, this should draw out the grease
Dont put your hands on the wall in the first place. my mother use to use soap and water and it worked and if all else fails change the strip...
cover with talcum powder then vacuum off that's the best result i have had good luck

I use the hand cleaner for mechanics that comes in a short plastic jar that looks like a sour cream container. I also will clean a greasy stain on a carpet with this and it's ch ch cheap!
two possibilities here,
1) try gently rubbing a slice of dry bread on stain,
or:-
2) place a piece of clean brown paper on affected area and apply a medium to hot iron on brown paper, using rotary motion and checking frequently, good luck.
