How do i remove dog wee from a wooden floor. it has left a brown stain?
my dog has peed on a wooden floor marking his territory in 5 small places. his pee has left a brwon stain that will not lift with any floor cleaner, can someone suggst any alternative treatments?
Answers:
If your dog urinated on the wooden floor recently, like within the past 2-3 days, I'd bet that the stain is actually moisture within wood that hasn't completely evaporated yet. Try sprinkling some baking soda (bicarbonate of soda) on the stains, rub gently with a dry soft cloth, and leave it overnight so it can both absorb odours and moisture. In the morning, wipe away the baking soda to determine if another application is required.
dip the dog in a big bucket of zoflora and wipe the floor with him!!!!!!!!!!!
(just a joke,no offence)
Try sugar soap. Nobody thinks of using it unless there want it for decorating. But it is a great stain remover. And for tough cleaning jobs. Try it. You might be surprised. God luck. And house train the dog.
Use a good Biological soap powder scrub with this, when dry put vinegar and water mixed in a spray bottle one part vinegar to two parts water spray and scrub often until smell goes away If your dog wees soak some up with a newspaper and lay it on something water proof to prevent wee going onto the floor now gradually move it towards the door once at the door hopefully your dog will go outside the door to his paper.Good luck
