Scottish Power. Pre payment cards question folks.?

Can you tell me the amount of electricity you get from putting in a £5 card. I know some of the money goes to GPO etc but how much money goes on electricity for me.

Answers:
you still get £5 on your meter, the GPO get there money from them not you.
Depends on the price of electricity - if you are in emergency the electricity costs you more than if you are in credit. I don't think the post office takes a cut, you get the whole amount on your credit.
I don't know..but what I do know is that my electricity and gas bills went down by about half when I switched to credit meters.
