Why are daddy long legs legs so loose?

I take it you mean easy to remove, well i suppose its because they are only held on at a very small point, and i think they grow back easily so its a defense mechanism, if somehing grabs its leg it can detach easily so it can escape
what do you mean by loose? flexible or easily laid
what do u mean by loose? all i know is i hate them ergh
loose, foot loose.
So kids can pull them off easier.
So they can escape when you catch them by one leg.

There are tons of them around Kent at the moment - leave the light on with the window open and they flock in.

I find they don't live long inside though - less than other insects.
