Mouse problem?

any one know the best way to kil mice or at least get rid of them

Answers:
All the above work to some degree(except the obviously daft) If buying traps get the self-set type (set with one finger) If buying poison get Townex mouse poison (Alphachloralose) they barely get their noses out of it ! (Deadly to all mammals-so no cat) If buying an electronic repeller get the type with two speakers-they work much better and cover a bigger area. Humane traps are all very well, but you are only giving the problem to somebody else!
yes buy a cat
We used mouse traps with peanut butter on them. The mice love it & it soon sorted our problem.Hope this will help you to be mice free soon !!!!!!
unplug it from the computer and throw it in the bin :D

seriously though i would go to the local hardware store even b& q do humane mouse traps either that our there are mouse pellets you can buy that will kill them.
i use odourless sticky glue, just got two of them yesterday

By the way tell you jokes, and it goes:

>How I was born<

A little boy goes to his father and asks, "Daddy, will you tell me
how I was born?"
-The father debates answering, but finally says: "Well, I guess one day you will need to know anyway."
"Your Mom and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo. I set up a date via e-mail and we met at a cybercafe.
-We sneaked into a secluded room, where your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive. "But when I was ready to upload and she was ready to download, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall and it was too late to hit the delete or escape button.
-"So nine months later a blessed little pop-up appeared that read, 'You've Got Male!"

One more joke:

A guy calls his vet and says "What should I do with my cat?Vet says "What do you mean? Guy says "I had a leak in my lawnmowers gas tank and the cat drank the gas. Then the cat began to run around and around the yard, climbed a tree. then fell out of the tree stiff. Vet says "Is the cat dead? Guy replies "nope he ran out of gas.

i hope you will take my answer as a best answer
Cats are okay, but tend to let a certain number survive as a snack for "later."
Traps work well, especially baited with peanut butter. The vermin will come out in broad daylight for a taste of PB.
Poison baits work, too, but can kill unintended animals (squirrels, rabbits and other less noxious wildlife).
I would recommend buying a half dozen springtraps and a jar of Jiffy.
Good luck.
We had a big mouse problem until we bought an electronic mouse repellant which just plugs into an electric socket. I am not sure how it works (some kind of ultrasonic noise I think) but I do know that we haven't seen a mouse since. No more fiddling with mouse traps and peanut butter/cheese etc.
You can get them in DIY and hardware stores!
Mouse traps, buy a cat or you can rent my pu**y cat if you want
Train a hamster to become a suicide bomber.
A product called just one bite! Works like a charm they will be all dead in a few days.. Keep it away from pets though, put in the area's where you see them the most.. you will only need a block or 2. You can get it at any feed store..
yes, get a rat.
Buy some warfarin laced poison from a local chemist or DIY store. Rentokil do a good version, it looks like purple bird seed and comes in plastic bags (small ones) which are sealed and you leave intact as you place in places they are likely to go. You can tell if they are going for it because they bags will be knawed open when next you check. They are so greedy they will all have a go, withing a week you can wipe out a whole colony. You will need to look out for carcasses though!
Landmines.
The problem with a cat is that it leaves you the guts as a present!
Mouse traps nearly take your fingers off setting them up.
And with humane traps you have to release the mice somewhere and hope they don't return.
They sure are pesky little buggers.
Mouse traps with Mars Bar on them. Mice don't go for cheese really they prefer sweet stuff and Mars Bar has always worked for my family in the past.
i got the same problem with them i got mouse traps
Obtain small lengths of old downpipes from a skip ( dumpster ) the size of the inner core of toilet paper or slightly longer.(Downpipes are about 2-3 inches in diameter about 45mm ) Buy cheap mousetraps, load them with peanut butter or soft caramel and carefully slide the mousetraps up the tubes.
Place the tubes at the sides of the walls where you have seen them. They are inqisitive little buggers and will go into the tubes to investigate, so it is good nite mice!!! Tubes prevent cats and dogs etc from touching them.
While you have mice it's a sign that there are no rats. Rats eat mice as they are competition
There are "humane" devices that catapult mice over a garden fence. Seriously.
The best way is a mousetrap, you can get them from most hardware stores, but don't use cheese as your bait,it's a myth that mice like it,use a piece of chocolate instead.
Poor mice don't kill them call the environmental health at your local coucil office.
