How can I stop my fridge from freezing all my veg in the bottom drawers?
It is on the lowest setting, and is only a year old.

put a theremometer in and take a reading.
if it is at it's lowest setting,
call the manufacturer and tell them to send a rep out to look at it.

Turn up the thermostat in the fridge (Larger number) should be a dial inside the cold box. The fridge will run a bit warmer but, won't freeze your veggies

Your thermostat has FAILED, get one fitted by a competent engineer if the fridge is fairly new.
If your fridge is quite old it could be economic to buy a new one.
I have just noticed that it is a year old, contact shop where you bought it and tell them, it is up to them to have it repaired.
there is probablyt nothing wrong with your fridge and incidentally the sald or fruit rack at the bottom of the fridge is the coldest part of the machine (heat rises) - fact. ridiculous as fruit & veg dont need to be so cold so the manufacturers should put the rack at the top of teh fridge. but anyway, in the meantime, your thermostat needs to be adjusted to a lower temperature if you wat to continue keeping the fruit&veg at the bottom or keep it as it is and store your meats and drinks there instead.
Do you mean the lowest setting? as in LOWEST TEMPERATURE, that would explain it! Set the stat higher, ie a lower number and it will be less cold. Get a thermometer and adjust till about -19C to -21C in the middle section.
I tend to agree with "chintot". Mine does the same, and it is fairly new. But the 2 bottom drawers say "Humidity controlled Crisper" and "Temperature controlled Meats", both being lovely marketing bull**** for "it's bloody cold down there"! Don't your bottom drawer have sliders which you can set to "low"? Mine has, at least...
I also had this problem. I used an old winter jacket, the fiber filled kind, and I lined the drawers with it and it works very well.
I've got the same problem (mine was perfect until we moved from sea level to a high altitude). I had mine down to as low as it could possibly go before going off and everything STILL froze. Get a thermometer and check the fridge and freezer both. You'll have to turn down the freezer, that will mess with the refrigerator part. So, get both to the ideal temps. It may take 2-3 days until you can regulate it, pain in the butt, but that's all I could do. Best of luck!
