can anyone tell me the best way to grow mushrooms. had all the diy kits and none of them work. also do they need to be planted in soil or straw thanxs peeps

They like a loose organic mixture to grow in. If you have a crawl space or basement they will do better. A dark closet. Think of the woods, where they grow and recreate that type of atmosphere.
