When does the early, and the late boost kick in?
Answers:
our electrical storage heaters get their energy between 10:30 pm and 6:30 am. some folk get a shorter overnight period plus a topup between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm

Hi,
Sounds like you have a faulty timeswitch on your meter. This is the most common problem. The time that the boost etc kicks in depends on what your electricity supplier has set it to, only an authorised engineer working on behalf of your supplier will be able to alter this. You need to find out who your electricity supplier is ( who you pay your bills to e.g powergen etc ), contact them regarding what tarriff you are on, and what times the booster is set to. If you are having problems with the heaters not coming on, this will be a faulty timeswitch, so contact your supplier again, and tell them you want an engineer to call out (this will be no cost to you). Dont be fobbed off by them telling you that you need to contact siemens or a similar contractor, its only your supplier that can authorise engineers to call out, and its only your supplier that you should deal with.
