Yes I hate it, there is always something I would rather be doing.
Luckily hubby does the ironing, but the kids should do more.

Get a cleaner and share the wealth. Or put a CD on while you do it and have a good boogie.

It is a chore, but not too bad if there is some sharing (with spouse or kids) eg. I like gardening but hate ironing.
In the UK, it is now quite easy to get some cheap home help from the eastern european migrants from slovakia, poland etc.
My carpet is a nightmare to hoover especially with my dog.I am not bothered about house work except for josie moulting on writing that i love her to bits so i have to grin & bear it.
i hate it but i cant trust someone doing my part of housework properly so i always have to do it myself.for bad result, i'm the only one to be blamed
I don't think many people actually enjoy doing housework but it is something most of us have to do. I try to maintain a good standard of hygiene with things that come into direct contact with the body, such as food, cutlery, tableware, cleaning cloths and the clothes I wear but adopt a more relaxed attitude about things. I've learned to distinguish between "dirty dirt" and "clean dirt". You must deal with "dirty dirt" as soon as you can otherwise you're going to get moulds on your utensils, plates, bathrooms. "Clean dirt" refers to dust and untidiness. It is not nice to leave things around but at least they won't make you sick. You could take it easy and shouldn't feel guilty if your rooms are slightly disorganized. I often think that to achieve a 100% tidy room is just not realistic. Don't imagine that other people's bedrooms are just like what you see in a furniture catalogue.
nah i'm sad i enjoy it i like making my house clean think i'd just die if someone turnt up and it looks like a bomb sight i'm not obsesive or anything i just like it looking tidy thou gotta admit i've given up on my teenage sons bedroom if he wants to live like a pig soo be it and i can just shut his door so no one else can see it lol

I just HATE IT more than anything in the world!!.. nobody cares about it, nobody notice it, nobody thank you for it, and the worse, nobody PAY YOU for it!.. :o(
it can be a headache. hopefully i could learn to like it.
Yes I hate house work but then I love seeing it all done and clean and tidy and enjoy having it nice if folk drop by unexpectedly. And I couldn't get a cleaner as I never feel it's done the same unless I do it myself, so I have shot myself in the foot with that one so I just have to get on without moaning!Sigh.
Yup, hate it!
i hate doing it its the most thankless task ever ..
funny thing is i used to be a cleaner and i dont mind doing other peoples its just doing my own that i hate !
I quite enjoy it. Right now we are in the middle of decorating so it's really messy & dusty at the moment but I grin and bear it and think to myself that it will look lovely when all is done. Then I can get to being a bit more organised into doing the washing, ironing, hoovering and dusting.
Putting good tunes on helps a lot.
