Which is the best mid priced washing machine?
Answers:
Don't listen to anyone saying hotpoint. I ran a shop selling them for 2 years and had more problems from hotpoint than all other manufacturers put together.
I find Baumatic and Fagor to be the best in the lower end of the market. (They come with extended warranties as standard).
Overall I'd reccomend Miele, they come with either a 5 or 10 year warranty. If you can't afford Miele, try Bosch, Siemens or AEG.

I have a new Hotpoint and I am very happy with it. It washes the clothes really clean. It is digital and I think I paid about £249 for it or something like that.
My daughter just bought an Estate by Whirlpool brand. It is the same as Whirlpool knob for knob except it cost 1/3 less.
We bought the Fridgidaire water-saver front loading washing machine and we have been satisfied. It's a simple machine.
bosch or hotpoint- both reliable and efficient check out www.kelkoo.co.uk they will do price comparisons for you
