when hell freezes over
yesterday
firsth thing in the morning is a good time,.when there is still some houses left,..if u leave it late in the day then they might all be sold,..u know the saying ''first come, first served'' !
good question love how much the house prices are over here, if i had the opportunuty i would buy one abroad with the pool, aah bliss at least you'll have nicer weather!
....Wait, it is only a matter of time until the housing market takes a dive. It's well over due. When it hits rock bottom, buy buy buy. I did this in the last dip in the property market and made a killing.
apparently now is the WORST time ever to buy a house ever, so don't buy. Wait until the market 'crashes' or whatever and the prices come down, thats what i am doing. Pop ur money in a savings account for now.
When you have won the lottery or robbed a bank. Im back with my folks after my divorce a couple of years ago - can't see how to get back on the ladder. Good luck to ya x
Right about...NOW.
I have jsut learned from my estate agent that after the 6 week hols is a bad time to sell. The holidays are paid for and you're saving for christmas so they have to drop the sale price a little to get their sales and fees!
Busiest and costliest time is spring apparently.
Also note that house prices have just flatlined for a spell but are due to rise approx 8% over the next 5 years or so.
1960!!
The best time would have been in about 2001 as prices have doubled in some cases since then. But this does not help you.
Forecasts over the next couple of years suggest some price growth, but not significant (in the region of 5% per annum). On that basis, there is no rush to buy the property you want, but if you do find the right one, i would go for it. The reason being is that the government (and local government) are pushing for this type of higher density property. About 1 in every 2 properties built today in the uk are flats. That is more than ever before, but it is not what the people want.
One thing i would suggest though is dont buy a flat or appartment. It is likely in the future that the prices of this type of property will not perform well as say a detached property.
this might be out in left field, but you could build your own house out of cob for about a tenth of the cost.
just an idea.
