How do I get rid of hardened Caustic Soda in my tiolet bowl?
I poured Casutic Soda in the toilet bowl to unblock the pipes and now there is this residue stuck to the bottom of the bowl.

Ive heard that Coca Cola is great for removing limescale etc in toilet bowls. Pour in say a can of Cola and leave overnight. Flush the next day and it should be gone. Its worth a try.

Don't worry, I have done the same thing to my toilet. Just get your toilet brush and push it up and down on the Caustic Soda, it will loosen and go down the toilet.
Where eye protection in case it splashes up into your face.
caustic soda is fully soluble. You must have lime scale so try an acid like lime scale remover.

Actually, any brush will do, but you may not want to use your tooth or hairbrush personally again afterwards. If you want to add a touch of humour to the task, why not use the tooth or hairbrush of someone you don't like?
Pour vinegar on it. Since caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) is a strong base and vinegar (acetic acid) is an acid the two will neutralize. The bonus being that nothing harmful is produced.
I suggest Turning the water off at the tank and flushing the toilet before adding the vinegar. This will allow you to speed up the process.
If you put your tongue and start licking it, that will do the trick
you properly have a limescale build up (caustic soda is soluble) you need to go to tescos and buy a bottle of their own brand bucks fizz from the booze section(bear with me) take it home and before you go to bed pour it down the toilet from the rim edge(or pour it into a spray bottle to get under the rim) all the way round..go to bed..wake up..check toilet..should be clean and sparkling after a flush.
try white viniger or lemon juice or bi carb of soda
