Where's best to get my wedding dress cleaned?
I live in London N15 so am guessing I need to take it to a posh central London dry cleaners. The dress is made of duchess satin with a trim made of glass beads and (presumably) plastic pearls. There's a funny plastic net trim holding the hem in place. (am making it sound horrible- it's v. nice really!)
Answers:
You need to find a dry cleaners that also does alterations. The trim needs to come off before it's cleaned and to be refitted afterwards.
You really need to get personal recommendations. Have you tried contacting the place you bought the dress from?
Go to a reputable wedding shop and they will recommend someone to clean this for you
