How can I get rid of fatty spot on a silk?

Answers:
Vinegar
Try a cool iron over some brown paper, it might lift it out.
good luck
Brown paper under a tea towel then iron over the stain and the fat will soak into the brown paper. Also works for wax
Silk is a delicate fabric, so ideally take the garment to the dry cleaners or you could try www.drclean.co.uk Good Luck.
ask bill clinton!
Good one on vinegar BTW.
Low iron and sanwich between brown paper(no printing!) good bet.

Barring that leave it around ants they'll take away the fat= I know they've tried carrying me away!(not interested in the cloth parts)

Both of the above should be tried after removing from body!
talcum powder takes out fatty stains, just sprinkle on and leave to absorb then wash
white vinegar is your best bet
fullers earth powder from chemist. sprinkle on it absorbs all grease. very good for oil on leather.
