Clothes shrunk in the wash. Anything I can do about it? Or is it time for a new wardrobe?
Answers:
Yep.. new ones for your wardrobe.
Next time you do laundry, I suggest you read the labels thoroughly. Unless you're a shop-aholic, lol ;-)
No not alot you can do! go buy more clothes! though maybe you can stretch em out again.. but they wont be the same!
either u will hav to lose a lot of weight and shrink alot or yeah i think time for a new wardrobe baby!
def. new wardrobe with lots of new shoes and bags and belts and jewellery......
time for a new wardrobe im afraid
I hear goodwill calling for those clothes.time to start a new line of clothing!
Only knits can be stretched by a dry cleaner.
Buy new clothes and donate the others to the needy.
Get your credit card out and enjoy yourself.
Nothing can be done apart from buying new ones and maybe if the shrunk ones fit someone in your family you can give them or give to them to someone else in need.
Soke it in cooled water, it expands the clothes..
having read your questions and answer, have you considered sheltered accomodation, people there could help you work the nasty washing machine. i know, they are so complicated right, all those 1 button, maybe marriage, to a man, or maybe take your laundry to your mother
Simple. Invent a time machine and go back in time and get them out of the drier and take them to the trash. Then go bye a new wardrobe. Then get back into the time machine and go back to the time you started in. See, simple.
It does happen to me as well.
To solve this problem and no to have to by new clothes that often, I now buy clothes at the size bigger than my normal size.
that's what they do
Not a lot you can do with the clothes, but if you need to go on a diet, perhaps that could be a good incentive! lol
opps! Sorry, time for a new wardrobe and give your old clothes to a kid!
not much you can do.it is possible you could stretch the clothes, but then it could tear,.let that be a learning experience and um..buy new clothes.
NO, Once shruck...stays that way
shrink yourself to fit the clothes
Hi I don't know a remedy for that one--you can probably donate them to a shelter and see if they will give you a donation receipt that you can use in your taxes. Sometimes they will.
Basically time to shop for new stuff! If you are in Canada--you can claim up to $500.00 for items related to your job after July 1 2006--so check out the CCRA website to see what the conditions are.

1. SOAK the garment in: 1/2 c. fabric softener, 1 T Borax, 2 T. Vinegar, 2 c. salt and 4 Gallon Warm Water solution for 1 hour.(ingredients in water are all water/fabric softeners)
Rinse with Warm Water.
BLOCK/PULL the garment gently to reshape on flat surface covered with towels to dry.

Think you need to look at the instructions before washing that will solve your problems and also save you money on new clothes
Its time to say goodbye!
wet them and stretch.lay out to dry on a towel outside. I hate that!! but a new wardrobe might be fun too!!!
Good luck trying to get the fibers to stretch back out, I'd say it's time to drop some cash on new clothes.
