I have a grape vine ,and this year the grapes have split exposing the seeds . why?

This is usually caused by a dry spell followed by too much rain. The dry weather makes the skins of the grapes thin and brittle, and the sudden moisture intake swells the inside fruit so quickly that the skins rupture. Tomatoes are also bad about doing this. Just remember to water them regularly and sufficiently during dry spells and you shouldn't have this problem again.
Sounds like you waited too long to pick them, and they over ripened.

Probably too much rain after a long dry spell. Next year, try deep watering on a regular schedule, at least 1 inch of water per week.
i you give them a little more shadow nezt time they will take longer to ripe and grow bigger than you have a better products
I would think that rain is the answer. either too much or too little.
Usually splitting is caused by overwatering, then letting the plant dry out, then overwatering again.
They need a consistent amount of moisture.
what region are you at?
make sure you know when the season is for your grapes in your region.
also pick them before they over ripen and make sure there's no mold or disease on the vines.
around here. we had nearly flooded out into the atlantic ocean then we had dried up and nearly blew away.. so our grapes are crap!
Yup, my tomatoes did the same thing this year. We had no rain for 2 weeks and then a tropical storm came through.
I watered them regularly through the drought, but it just isn't the same I guess.

The same thing happened to my tomatoes. I think they got too much water/rain in too short a time. That's what the gurus say about tomatoes, which ARE a fruit growing on a vine! That's wht they must be staked to keep them off the ground where they'd rot.

Excessive rains or watering close to or during harvest may cause splitting of skins.
Sounds as if you have not been watering correctly, erratic watering could possibly cause this.
