How do you convert an ordinary dustbin into a composter?

Answers:
To compost organic matter, you need a receptacle with holes throughout the container to allow air to speed the decomposition process. Without the holes, your material will grow mold and mildew and create a foul smell. Best containers are wire mesh. Some local governments will provide composting containers. If your area practices recycling of yard detritus, contact them to see if they have containers specifically built for composting.
Well put holes in the bottom and in the side, oh and make a door at the bottom so you can get the compost out!

Then place it on the soil somewhere so that the creepy crawlies can get in and do their stuff.

Then put your garden and kitchen waste in it. don't put in weeds or tomatoes (unless you want lots of tomato plants all over the garden!) If you put in mainly kitchen waste then you should also feed it paper.

Happy gardening.
Take the bottom out of it , put some mesh underneath (so rats cant get in) and curl it round the sides. Put it on top of soil and add Veg scrapes, paper and worms.
Good luck
Bore holes in the side and fill with grass, old veg etc and leave for a while..
