Appendix tumour?
i recently had my apendix removed and during the op they had to take out part of my bowel. during the tests on my appendix and bowel they discoved it was actually a tumour they removed. it is seemingly very rare and only one other surgeon in the hospital (aberdeen hospital) has seen this many years ago. has anyone else suffered from this? i would like more info. thanx.

Colorectal cancer is anything but rare in the UK. Most general hospitals have two wards full of patients undergoing bowel surgery. It was probably good luck that your appendix reacted and that this was discovered at an early stage.
