Answers:
He REALLY needs to go to the doctors. Sounds as though he is in poor health and sounds quite serious.
It could be anything the health is not brilliant, i suggest going to the doctor asap!
There could be any number of answers to that one but go get checked immediately. That happened to my father and he did not get it checked right away, he has since been diagnosed with terminal renal cell carcinoma. DO NOT HESITATE! Go to the doctor.
passing blood where? Stool? Urine? Vomit? Passing blood anywhere is not normal and a good indication of a serious problem. He should see a doctor immediately
if hes passing in the urine it could be as simple as a urine infection but it's best if he goes and see's a doctor or try a walk-in centre if you have one in the area they are nurse led he may prefer to see a beautiful young nurse.
could well b some form of bowel cancer but any passin of blood be it through urine or feaces is not good, get him to the doc's yesterday, did i mention a.s.a.p???like now!
could be an ulcer
Passing blood in stools is not a good sign. It could be a sign of ulcers in intestines. if they are in the stomach , small intestines stools are usually black. If they are in the lower and large intestines they may be frank red blood.
Frank blood may also be a sign of haemorrhoids, They may be a sign of alcohol related damage to liver(cirrhosis) which can lead to haemorrhoids.
So, he needs to see doctor, better surgeon. liver function tests are essential. blood tests to rule out anaemia as he is passing blood.
Rush him to doctor.
i dont know but go to the doctors
I assume you are referring to him passing blood from the rectum (versus his urine). The worst case reason would be colorectal cancer. The least worrisome reason would be hemorrhoids. In between you could have bleeding diverticulum. There are some other possibilities, but those are the most likely. Given his history, I'd lean toward the cancer. In any case, you need to get him to a doctor. Does he have all his mental faculties? Perhaps you need to have him declared incompetent and have the state force him to be evaluated.
Good luck.
He MUST go to see a Doctor he couls have problems with his liver ,in fact i would say that with what you have said that he Has got a problem with his liver. with liver pr-obs thy can get bad very very fast so get him to the Doctor
Could be infection in bladder,if it spread to kidneys he will be in real pain. Please see Doc,Anti-biotics will clear infection up.
Any condition which displays symptoms of blood loss, should be investigated by a qualified doctor, there are many minor and major causes for such symptoms, but being given a list, of what it could possibly be, won't help in any way, only knowing what it is and receiving the proper treatment will be of any value.I am sure he is aware that his lifestyle is not a healthy one and has continued to make his own choices in life, but maybe trying to explain to him that although it's a choice for him at the moment not to seek medical advice, if left untreated, may no longer be down to a matter of choice but of necessity, and making his own decision to visit the Dr now means he still has a degree of control over what happens to him.
I don't know to be honest, but what i would say is he needs to go to the doctors and be checked out. asap.
Good luck
Is he passing blood with his urine or his stools? If it's his urine, it's most likely prostate trouble and needs surgery. If he's very lucky, it may only be a kidney infection but he will still need treatment for it. If he is passing it from behind, it could be very serious or it could be something like polyps. If he wont go to the doctor, you will have to bring the doctor to him. It is too serious to ignore. Difficult situation though. Good luck.
Kidney Failure. Happens to many Diabetics.
He needs to be seen by a doctor straight away. Given his age he needs to exclude the possibility of cancer. If it's caught early the outlook is good.
It's also possible it is caused by other less serious ailments, but even these need medical attention.
Don't delay.
slight passing of blood could be a narrowing of the tubes which needs a catheter to be used to test for it
