Why do I get "wind" and need to "burp" after exercise?
I am a "Senior" and now find I get a tight chest after exercise, which is relieved when I "burp"

Whether you realize it or not, while you exercise you "GULP" air which later has to exit one way or another.
I would say that you are swallowing air in the process of exercising. Breathe through your nose and you will be less apt to swallow air as you go.
