Great fun. You get to travel all over the world and get shot at.
I liked it. It's a good experience. I got to see the middle east, Europe, Asia, and I've been all over the United States. But I don't agree with the reasons behind this war, so I got out when my time was up, and did not re-enlist. Though, earlier in my carreer I had planned on it.

Hi. I am not actually in the Army, but my boyfriend is. He is based in Germany in the Second Royal Tank Regiment. He joined the Army when he was 16 and enjoyed it a lot. Now, after 4 years in the Army, he doesn't like it so much anymore becasue he can't do what he wants when he wants. he doesn't know when he will see his family again and he is a very family orientated guy. So go for it if you want to but be warned. You will be away from your family, you will be under constant discipline and if you have a girlfriend - you wont see her a lot unless she moves with you. Howvere, there are good things about the Army. My boyfriend has got a medal for doing survelience with the SAS and he loves driving tanks so. There are many good things and bad about the Army. Good luck
