Just got a new job, what should i do to celebrate it. Somewhere in Leeds?
Answers:
Don't go to the 'If' bar on the Headrow. It's w@ank!
The smaller Revolution down by the railway arches is far better than the new one on Millenium Square. Avoid Park Row entirely because it is full of nobs.
If you are into cheesy crap then there is Flares by the station and The Birdcage on Boar Lane (a drag queen club, quite funny really). Oh and Bondi Beach Bar next to the Queens Hotel. It has a revolving dance floor which makes people fall over and vomit.
Bar Ha Ha on Milennium Square is massively overpriced and has hideous Wallpaper.
Best thing, have a wander round the centre and see what grabs your attention.
Cafe Rouge by the Corn Exchange is good if its fairly busy, otherwise all the bar staff just stand and look at you.
My 'other half' swears by the HiFi club in the centre, but then he is into jazz.
If you want to see classic Northern inbreeding, try Henry's at the far end of the Headrow.
If you want lapdancers, then try any place with a name with a colour and an animal eg Red Leopard, Blue Coyote.
Baby Cream, opposite the museum/gallery is horrendous.
Can't be of more help than this, bars change names and owners so quick, the likes of me can't keep up.
come to birmingham & crack open the champagne..
Have sex.
oceana. new club. u cant beat it. you'll really enjoy it. have fun and good luck in your new job!
You should work hard,do a good job. Then after a while when YOU become one of the "Boys" there might be promotion for you. Now you have really earned a right to celebrate, go out and party.
Go out with your mates and have a nice meal and then on to a club. Congratualations and good luck in your new job.
Duchess of York, used to be a good boozer with good bands too!
