DO NOT be a vigilante or other hero & go looking for the car, unless of course you're ready to be 6 ft under. Let the police handle the crime. That's what they get paid to do. Yes, it's slow going. That's how things are in police work. I know first hand from helping my grandmother try to get information on the autopsy from when my uncle died 3 years ago. We were told 6-8 weeks; it was more like 10-12. Anyhow, let the police handle the situation.
