meaning dividend.

I went in there to buy a lighter,asked the checkout girl to check the lighter to see if it worked ok,all she did was push the lever to let the gas out but did not flick the flint.
She thought it wasn't working,so put it back and got another one. She then did exactly the same as before.
I tried to tell her she wasn't doing it properly,but she just looked at me gone out,before she could do it for the third time i took the lighter and showed her,and to her amazement the lighter worked ! this was a middle aged woman who didn't even know how a lighter works... DOH
At least we know she isn't going to be an arsonist !!
i can walk into ours with 1 person getting served
pick up some milk,and when i walk to the counter to pay,the queue is 25 miles long.HOPELESS
i think it's bit discriminative to say they are thick, some of these are students and will go on to bigger and better things, by the way do you mean the Co-op with a capital c, who feels thick now.
