What is the Legal age to Babysit in the U.K (England)?
Me and My Friend would like to set up a Babysitting Service, but, we don't want to break the Law, so, If you can Help that would be Great. If you know: What the age is for Babysitting in the U.K ? Then can you please answer this question, Thank you!

There is no age restriction, but it is generally accepted that 14 is a fair minimum.
You don't need to set up a business and go through criminal records checks etc. as an earlier answer suggested.

it's cruel to sit on babies lol .i personally wouldn't leave my kids with anyone there safer locked in a cupboard whilst i go out.

I don't think there is a restriction as such, a lot of teenagers tend to start babysitting when they are around the ages of 14/15/16 but you would also need to be mature and responsible
i've been told it is now thirteen years of age,with the parents concent to this of course so they are aware.

14 yrs you are allowed to look after a sibling but to look after anyone else for cash then its 16 yrs.If youre going to set up a business you would also have a great deal of paperwork like health and safety and criminal disclosure checks etc etc
