Try and find a job that relates to something you're interested in. If you like sports - A leisure centre, If you like people - Try a customer services role, just a few examples of how to work out what kind of job would suit you.
Good luck x
go "on the game" fresh air plenty of tax free money, meet interesting people !.
y dont u go on monster they loads of jobs just look if ne thin takes ur eye then go 4 it good luck
depends on you and your personality. what do you like doing? do you want to work with people/animals/children?

I am a teacher, and I think it is the best job - I wouldn't do anything else!
Wow, someone i can relate to, this is exactly what happens to me, Had my first night off last night , since aug 04, but i bet i'm in the office tonight when i go back in. I know loads of people, who have warnings, and they dont even get a , 'what were you off for'?
I tell you, they dont appreciate the people who always have great attendance, they think more of the people that are always off. Maybe you work at the same place as me? lol

What are your skills? And what qualifications you got? What area you live in?
Try becoming a chef. You get good pay , it is a practical job instead of stuff like being in an office , it's a skill that is very handy (preparing christmas and sunday lunches etc) , you can teach your children and apparently it is a job that your other half may be impressed with. The down side is sometimes you don't get back home until 11pm and the head chef can be stressful towards you.

Good luck though.
Two questions to ask yourself. Is there anything I'm good at (other than moaning about my job) and what would I like to do? If they both give the same answer, that's where you need to go.

People can get bored whatever they do if they're in the wrong job. (Oh no, not another luxury yacht to take for a cruise) Now you've got some experience, you need to give the problem a lot of thought or you'll just move to another job that bores you.
Go to your local careers office, they all have computer programmes whereby you answers questions about your likes dislikes etc; and then it will scan it's database and come up with a list of possible career ideas.

You will get a print out of these possible career options and also what qualifications or experience you would need for a particular job.

You would also be given the opportunity to book an appointment with an Adult Careers adviser where you will be given free and impartial advice and information, to help you make an informed choice on what career path to pursue.

It is free to use, but you may have to book an appointment first.
The programme used to be called Adult Directions, but it may well go be different name now of course.

Yes it all sounds very scary, but it is good fun and whilst it might not provide you withany suitable career choices at least it will help you to generate your own career ideas.

I would mention also that you will have transferable skills that you can take to other jobs so do not get down hearted if you do not have the qualifications but do have the experience for a job that might be of interest you. It's all about be flexible and willing to learn new skills and putting your transferable skills to good use.

Good luck and I hope this has given some direction as where to look for help and food for thought..

PS How about a Cruise Liner Hostess..it's sounds just up your street. Just out of interest, do you know that the most successful funeral director business in the UK is run by a women. Having compassion, caring skills, good interpersonal and customer care skills, are what go to make up a good funeral director.
