Wedding venues in south wales - any suggestions?
i'm looking for somewhere to hold my whole wedding. it has to be a place that can be flexible with menus and drinks packages etc and somewhere that provides accommodation and good places for the photos. also no more than £26 per head for the wedding breakfast as my budget is quite tight. castles, country houses, hotels etc. thanks!

Castle Coch or Caerphilly Castle are great (only Caerphilly can accomodate teh dinner too, Castle Coch is fine for the wedding but you'll need a party venue too). Treowen Manor just outside Monmouth sleeps about 40 if you want a whole house I can put you in touch with a fab caterer if you have a venue lined up and want a historic themed menu. Talk to Gareth Riseborough about food, he's wonderful and did the food for some friends of mine and is based in Wales (put a post asking for him on livinghistory.co.uk and he'll show up soon enough)
Swansea docks.
You have plenty of choice in Cardiff, but Castell Coch(red Castle) does not cater for weddings. There are some very nice hotels in Cathedral road area of the city that would most probably suit your pocket. It is also very close to the city centre. Hope this is of help to you.
