Have you used a "man and a van" in London? If so, would you recommend him?
We are moving in a few weeks and are planning on just grabbing the name of a man and a van from Loot but wondering if anyone has moved lately and used one that they can recommend. We are in London, England

I lived in london till i moved to essex a few years back and hired a man with a van to move my gear..Well ,on the day of the removal we set out from south london and had to go through the rotherhithe tunnel..The driver then decided to hit one of the steel posts at the entrance to the tunnel and crunched up his van a bit..We then went through the tunnel and inspected the back of the van and luckily enough no damage was done,,It seems funny looking back on that now nut it wasnt then lol..I gave that driver so much stick he was almost crying..So in answer to ure question ,i would have to say that u should check that anydamage will be paid for by the person moving the goods..
sounds a bit iffy.
