Looking for fabric (brocade) in London, where should I go and how do get there (closest tube station)?

Answers:
If money is not an object, and you want good quality, try the department store Peter Jones in Sloan Square, opposite the tube station (District and Circle lines). They have a lovely selection, but you will pay a high price for it. however, they are "never knowingly undersold" meaning that you won't be likely to find that quality of merchandise at a cheaper price elsewhere. Also John Lewis is Oxford Street has the same selection (Oxford Street tube, Central Line). Fabric Galore in south london (Somewhere like Tooting) is great for cheap as chips selections, but you don't always find what you are looking for and there is no tube nearby.
Shepherds Bush market, I think its on central line
