Do i need a licence to sell good from my home?
Answers:
Entrepreneur,
First, it depends on what State you reside in and the way in which you are distributing your products. Some states will not require a license but will require a Fictitious Name Statement for sole proprietorships.
If anything, you might need to get a Seller's Permit or a Reseller's Permit based on the type of goods that you are selling and to whom you're selling the products. It can all be confusing but calling your local County Clerk's Office or the City's Board of Equalization can yield the correct information that you need in determining what kinds of permits and licenses you really need.
I'd provide sources for you, but I don't know what state you're in. Your local telephone directory will have these public government numbers in them and usually the people who answer will be most helpful in getting you to the right departments.
Good luck!

It depends on the goods. For alcohol and some other substances (chemicals, air rifles etc) you do.
You will need planning permission if you are going to open up your house as a shopfront - or allow passer's by to come in and buy something.
If you are running a business from home, you will need to think about your insurance cover, not only for your stock, but also because using your home as a place of work can attract higher premiums or invalidate a claim if you have not notified the insurer.
If your selling 'good', then can i please have some.
I go with James R's answer!
Only if its something illegal you want to sell from home, i think its luck you should be looking for, not a license!!
