Is a licence required for a Recruitment Agency in Unied Kingdom?
I want to start a recruitment agency (or better consultancy) in London, UK. I moved to UK recently from another EU country. I have met several people who worked for recruitment companies and came from different backgrounds. They didnt have any licence or specific qualification. Does the owner of the agency needs to have a licence? I cannot find any info about this subject. Which authority provides this licence in the UK? Thank you in advance for replying.

Although the general principle of recrutment is the same, depending on the sector you are starting up in requires some research. You do not need a licence to start up, but in order to ensure you are conforming to recruitment legislation I would advise you speak to the REC, see them at www.rec.co.uk who will be able to give you free advice on setting up a recruitment business and your legal responsibilities.why dont manufacturers of duvet covers?
