Ask to be quoted for the whole job. Works out cheaper that way usually. A typical living room (4 x 4m) should cost around £200-£300 to re-plaster exc. materials. This equates to around £20-£30 per hour.
In london anything up to £100 an hour. But don't pay any more than £45 an hour and watch out for the cowboys! There are alot trying be plasters at the moment so get a reccomendation from somebody first. Getting a few prices is always a good idea but don't always go for the cheapest try the mid priced one that you found genuine when meeting this is good advice for all trades people.
I think around £10 as we had one and it was £70 for the day. I think you have to pay for teabreaks and stuff too.
an individual or small company would usually quote for the job.The price will vary as to where you are in the uk. Typically in a city £150 for a days work.An agency would pay £14-- £17 an hour to a plasterer.
